Serving Process in Unusual Places

We used to think that price was the only thing that mattered to legal professionals when selecting an individual or a firm to serve process.  Probably because the first question we are asked at the outset of any conversation is "How much does process service cost?"

What do our clients say?

building trustTo find out if that was really how our clients made the decision, we recently asked some of them if they would be kind enough to help us figure out what really matters.

Was it really all about cost? What about building trust?  Or reliability?  Or customer service

Specifically, we asked them to tell us:

  1. What it's like to work with us
  2. How our service and approach compare with that of a server from an online directory and
  3. If appropriate, give us an example of a situation where we made a difference for them, their client, or their firm.

The stories they shared with us were heartening – and sometimes hilarious!  We thought you might like to hear them too and perhaps let us know what's most important at your firm.

Here's one from "Loretta" at a large firm in Florida.  Additional stories will follow in future posts:

I wouldn't think of using anyone else.

No matter what I'm doing, it's always a rush!!

And every time, no matter what I ask, you get it done for us.  One time, you even served someone in a psych ward!!

Family law matters can be tricky, but you have always come through for us!!!

I always feel like your only client when I call!

Conclusion:
Loretta cares about our ability to consistently get the job done, even in unusual circumstances.  To do it on time, and to give her confidence that we are on the same team.
